Wai Fiji Donates Premium Drinking Water for Mothers at CWM Maternity Ward
Hundreds of mothers at the CWM Maternity Ward were left without access to clean drinking water today (03/12) following a water disruption.
In response, Wai Fiji stepped up, donating several days’ worth of premium drinking water to support pre- and postnatal mothers during this challenging time.
Delivering the first donation, Wai Fiji CEO Arnold Chanel highlighted the company’s unwavering commitment to community welfare:
“When we heard about the situation, we couldn’t stand by. No mother or baby should have to endure such hardship. Ensuring they have access to clean, safe drinking water is our way of showing we care. These mothers are raising the future of our nation, and they deserve all the support we can offer.”
He also called for a collective approach to addressing such challenges:
“As a community, it is our duty to come together and respond to crises like this, particularly when the wellbeing of mothers and newborns is at stake. Their health is not just their own—it’s the foundation of our society’s future.”
The CEO also pledged ongoing support, ensuring that Wai Fiji would continue to assist mothers in need at the maternity ward.
This initiative reinforces Wai Fiji’s commitment to standing by its community in times of crisis, helping to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
